چکیده

Rational decision-makers had been classically endowed with adequate and complete procedures (of reasoning, deciding, etc.) and ideal goals (maximizing one's utility for instance). More recently the role of emotions in decision-making has been incorporated in normative and descriptive accounts of decision-making. We consider emotions as adaptive procedures given certain decision-making tasks. This leads to some more general reflections on how, notably through the development of emotional aptitudes, we became adapted or less adapted to recent economic environments.
